Farmville co-op got off to a problem-plagued start according to feedback from users. Zynga for their part as acknowledged the problems and asked users to patient.
The question on the virtual farmers lips in Farmville is how will this work? Apparently is working sites such as Farmvillefreak.com are reporting users completing their tasks but problems persist.
Complaints
It is interesting that many of the complaints from virtual is not only about this feature but Zynga's ability to fix the bugs, lost gifts. As it relates to the co-op, some users seem upset that the product could be rolled out with so many bugs while others call for patience given, that the product is free.

Can't join my own daughter's job, says her job can't be found. Yes we are neighbors. My wife gets the 'job full of already completed' message even though daughter just started the job and only has 1 other member.
ReplyDeleteZynga is aware of the problems and apparently those problems should have been addressed in the updates rolled out on April 15
ReplyDeleteWell here is an update...the issues are NOT addressed. We had a full day of neighbors being denied access to jobs that do not exist. They can not even view active jobs to join. I actually have neighbors who I know joined and their pictures are blanked out. It is getting so tiring to deal with the issues that should be ironed out before the game is released. One more day of this and I will drop farmville. I dont have time to stress over this stuff.

I can not join or start a co-op. I can see my friends jobs and the new co-ops to be started but if I click on Join it says ‘Selection Failed. This job is full or no longer exists’. This is not correct, the jobs I try to join are not full nor can I start my own job.
ReplyDeleteIf I try to start a co-op it shows the appropriate screen but then does not give the normal pop-up to recruit friends, then when I click ‘Return to farm’ and start planting – the counter box starts, then I get a pop up that my game is out of sync. When my page refreshes, all planting is lost and I am no longer in the co-op I am trying to start.
Anyone out there know what I can do to get this resolved? I have 3 neighbors with same problem.
same problem here just started a job and only one other of our 5 member team can get in.. to everyone else it says no job exists or job is full *errors*. Yesterday we had this problem and the co-op job disappeared! after about an hour...

Same problem here too. A job disappeared yesterday or the day before and ever since, can't start or join job: out of sync error when starting a new job, job full or non existent when trying to join.
ReplyDeletesame..cant join or start any jobs, always says out of sync...but i dont understand how my friends can start or join...its really bugging me :( i wonder if its a problem with my operating system since i just recently got a new laptop and is on windows 7 :( farmville please acknowledge this that it still going on :( heehh
ReplyDeleteI am having the same problem as the above farmers. I have not been able to join or start a coop for over a week. And I have not seen anywhere that farmville has acknowledged there is any problem, much less if there are any attempts being made to fix it. It is frustration.

Oh Yea: When it did work, Kinda, doesn't let me post my MVP win half the time! This is getting painful! Why do they keep adding junk that we don't need, when all we ask is that they fix the problems we all have!
ReplyDeleteI am beginning to think it is time to stop playing Farmville. I have almost all of the medals complete, and the only reason I was still playing was to do the co-op stuff. Since it is broken, I am having a hard time finding a reason to come back.

ReplyDeleteI was able to join jobs and create them for about a week or so , then all of a sudden out of the blue it starts saying failed to join the selected job , its either already full or no longer exists, when I try to start one it acts like it works then about a minute later it says the game is out of sync with the server , then when I click ok and come back its the same thing over and over and its been like this for about 5 days now. was working perfectly before. and also my mom is having the same problem , we live in the same house using the same internet. and my fiancee is able to join and start jobs . so whats the deal Zynga ? the only reason I came back to play Farmville is because of the jobs , but now Im about to throw my hands up and say F- it again ! PLEASE HEAR US AND FIX THESE ISSUES , obviously there is alot of people having these problems. Thanks !

hi, i have the same trouble, cant join and start jobs...failed to join the selected job. The job is already full or no longer exists....it doesnt work for last week....i cant start my own job, i can seed, but later is it away... just a glutton of time and no fun...kiki
ReplyDeleteIt worked for me right away. I completed 18 jobs. It didn't let me finish a job and now for the last week I am getting the same error as everyone else.

ReplyDeleteFor all the people who's experiencing the same problem as I do.. where one can't join co-op jobs because for some reasons it's full when clearly it's not.. I've found a workaround.. here's what You need to do..presuming that you are at the co-op menu..
ReplyDelete- start a job ( yes, your own )
- when it's created - click return to game..
- then go back, and quit the job.. after doing so, that's when you are able to join others for a co-op job.

WHEN JOB WILL BE ACTIVE- CANCELL IT
NOW TRY TO GET INTO TROUBLED TOMATOES

I am so fed up with moochers on the co-op jobs. Every co-op I have been in has at least one. Someone that joins after all of the seeds have been planted and waiting for harvest. I read that we are suppose to ask politly for them to quit the job. Well, that does not work. I am going to quit co-op farming until this problem is solved.
ReplyDeleteI accomplished in two different days two different co-op...but when i finished it, i didn't have my reward. No moneny no xp, just nothing.....how is that possible??? And when now i try to do a new co-op everytime i harvest it don't count in the co-op!!!
